You haven't finished the key, but not because you are afraid to finish. You're afraid of finding you can't finish. You're afraid to go down to where the stones stand, but not because you're afraid of what may come once you enter the circle. You're afraid of what may not come. You're not afraid of the great world, Eddie, but of the small one inside yourself. Stephen King
About This Quote

Here is an excerpt I took from another blog. The quote is actually about something completely different than the context it is used in. (I'm not saying this is wrong, I'm just trying to be clear about what I'm doing.) But, in that context, it talks about how we are afraid of ourselves. We are afraid of our own darkness. When we look at the darkness in ourselves, we see ourselves as monsters.

So we run away from ourselves and hide in the empty, safe spaces of others. When our heart tells us that something is wrong within us, we don't believe it. You can look at this quote in so many different ways, but personally I think this one works best for me: "You can look at this quote in so many different ways, but personally I think this one works best for me:"
